Most time we see Erza, she fights with her magical equipments. So if this is an all-out battle, Octavia simply stands no chance against Erza herself.
Comparing the strength, it's most likely another win for Erza. She's incredibly durable, strong, can beat the shit out of Natsu as easily as flipping her hand. Even when having lost all of her senses, Erza can still fight. I must say, the author buffed her to a ridiculous level. Oh wait, everyone in Fairy Tail is so damn imba.
But if this is only a sword fight, using techniques and ect, I would say Octavia has a chance to win. Her sword skills are high, agile and can fight on with Arthur, the 1st warrior of the tribe. We know that he's not a weak dude after all. On the other hand, Erza seems like she's too relying on magic and strength, not sword skills.
I haven't read the sequel of FT, so I don't know how broken Erza will be tho XD
